Max's Restaurant: 4Sharing Meal for Sharing
Filipinos generally love to dine out whether be it with family, friends, classmates or co-workers. I myself love eating out in restaurants and cafés with my barkada. However, one problem I usually encounter is not having enough food for everyone in the group. To address this and make eating out more fun, Max's Restaurant created their latest group meal offering, 4Sharing Meal.
Max's Restaurant has been one of the most favorite homegrown dining spots of almost every Pinoy. And since we, Filipinos are known to treat every meal like a happy bonding session, Max's brings us a sumptuous group meal for everyone to enjoy.
Since April 15, 2012, Max's Restaurant has already been offering the 4Sharing Meal which gives diners a sumptuous spread of their most delectable and sought-after dishes. For only P799, every group of four can enjoy one whole regular sarap-to-the-bones Fried Chicken, a bowl of piping hot Sinigang (with a choice of Sinigang na Baboy, Sinigang na Hipon, Sinigang na Tiyan ng Bangus or Sinigang na Ulo at Tiyan ng Salmon), four servings of plain rice, and four glasses of iced tea.
To make the 4Sharing campaign even more fun and exciting, Max's Restaurant will be raffling off 4 iPhone 4S every week for a period of 8 weeks! To join, simply avail of the 4Sharing Meal valid for dine-in, take-out and delivery. Keep the official receipt and log on to Max's 4Sharing Page where you have to fill up a customer identification and an online raffle entry form.
Last Thursday, I was fortunate enough to be invited to Max's 4Sharing Meals Media Launch held at the first ever branch of this famous homegrown restaurant. Unlike the usual branches of Max's though, the Scout Tuazon restaurant in Quezon City had 2 buildings and an inviting al fresco dining area.
Together with other bloggers and media personnel, I got to sample a preview of the delectably filling and budget friendly 4Sharing Meal starting with the golden brown and perfectly-fried chicken that made Max's an institution. We also had a bowl of Sinigang na Hipon, along with plain rice and iced tea.
Max's 4Sharing Meal is definitely one very satisfying spread. But for people like me who can't miss a meal starter, then there's no harm in ordering a serving of Lumpiang Shanghai (P142.80) which comes with atchara and a sweet and sour sauce. For a sweet ending, you can never go wrong with a refreshing cup of Buko Pandan (P48.30).
THE VERDICT
Max's Restaurant has been one of my go-to dining spots for a quick meal, not until my family and I had a very disappointing experience with the Chicken All-You-Can promo at the branch near us. Ever since that incident, we already became very wary of eating at Max's, even in other branches. But with a good experience at the Media Launch, a new group meal, and a family of four, I guess it wouldn't hurt to visit Max's Restaurant yet again. I have high hopes that this time, Max's will deliver not only good Filipino food, but also a dining experience worth remembering for the good reason.

ReplyDeleteTagal na ko di nag Max. :) Maybe it's time to eat there again :)
ReplyDeleteI like Max's chicken... and I don't even like chicken in general. Sounds like a good deal, I should start planning since my helper is going on vacation and I'm useless in the kitchen. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI see my favorite, sinigang na hipon. :D
ReplyDeleteAnother must try is sizzling tofu (more like, tokwa)
Happy to see Max's here in purple doll!
ReplyDeleteTheir chicken's one of the best in Phil.
I'm going to be bias because I worked at one of their branches before. hehe!
The Scout Tuazon is legendary! =)
I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience during their Chicken all you can. I had fun eating fried chicken during their first promo, i loved it!
ReplyDeleteMax's has been there for a looong time. I was a big fan. :)
ReplyDeleteYummm! i miss Max's~ :(
ReplyDeleteLike the regular chicken but I love the spring chicken more.
ReplyDeleteThis is timely as I got a peek of the menu. There's a new Max Restaurant open here and though Filipinos complain its pricey, i wish to try one day. This will be my first time to eat at Max - anywhere in the world.
ReplyDeleteMy family loves Max's Restaurant. Whenever we are at the mall, my children will always ask for the Max's Fried Chicken. and Veggie Lumpia. I would like to try this 4Meal Meal on our next visit this weekend but I guess I have to order additional rice and iced tea because we are five in the family. :)
ReplyDeleteI really love Max's Restaurant. Especially their chicken. Its so yummy!
ReplyDeleteMAx's!! :D eto matitikman ko..hihihihi.. kase meron na rin kameng Max's dito. weeeeee <3

ReplyDeleteI think there is something wrong with the ad's perspective.
Nothing beats Max's. So many good food. So many fond memories.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Max! And to top it off, the Sct. Tuazon branch is super near our place. =) I've also seen this 4sharing promo from a billboard in Edsa, which made me more curious. The set meal is actually pretty inviting, given that I love their fried chicken, and of course their SINIGANG!!!! =)
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely order this one next time we visit Max! the kids love their "lumpiang shanghai", will follow your suggestion as well.
ReplyDeleteI Love Max!! Which reminds me I've been craving for their pancit luglug the whole week. We always order their group meals too..
ReplyDeletewell, I can say I love Max's but not all branches have the same taste or 'timpla' as they call it. Don't like the one here in Pampanga. Not good enough. :(
ReplyDeleteuy.. na-starstruck talaga ako dahil kasama kita sa table.
ReplyDeletesa mga readers ni Sumi, MAGANA SIYA KUMAIN./ ahahaha

ReplyDeleteMy family and I love dining out at Max's. Great food and of course, their chicken is really tasty.
ReplyDeleteI so love Max. Been eating at their branch since I was a kid ^_^ Truly Pinoy!
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried their promo yet pero feel ko hindi yan available ang promo dito sa Max namin. Weird noh? Pero miss ko na mag Max sana meron nyan dito para kakain ako ng marami! Super mahal kasi :D
ReplyDeleteI waaaaant! What camera did you use to take the shots?
ReplyDelete@lalalaPatricia: From what I know, this promos is available nationwide. So if you have a Max's near your place, you can avail of the 4Sharing Meal! ;)
ReplyDelete@Danes: Hi, I used a Canon EOS 550D. Lighting was super dark in the event though so these photos (except for the al fresco dining area) were taken with flash.
Ah Max's, oldie but goodie. My dad's fave resto! Sulit naman kasi talaga. :)
