Yes friends, you read it right! I'll be a guest reviewer on
POP Talk's episode tomorrow "Basta driver, food lover" which you can catch on GMA News TV (Channel 11) at 10PM.

While it never really crossed my mind to have my face on national television, I was super excited when I got contacted to join the show as a guest reviewer for a food trip episode. I am very far from being pro when it comes to food critiquing, but I grabbed the opportunity for the exposure and experience. It's not everyday that I receive offers like this anyway.
What's different in this episode than the other food-related ones in the show is that we scoured the Metro to try 3 of the eateries famous to public transport drivers. So together with
POP Talk's host Kuya Tonipet, the sexy host and actress Alyssa Alano, and 18-year jeepney driver Boni Generoso Sanchez, we checked out
Dannylicious,
Nelia's Eatery and
Bulaluhan sa España before chilling at
Bon Appetea for the verdict.

Honestly, I'm more nervous than excited to see myself on television. Alyssa is really pro, and even Kuya Boni was a natural. I, on the other hand, thought that I was doing fine until I saw the episode teaser on GMA News TV. Then, I got to see it again on Facebook and I can't help but think, "Ack, I look so awkward in front of the camera!" I seemed a little
tulala in the clip and
may pasmile-smile pa.
Nakakahiya lang! I'm just hoping that the
POP Talk editors have cut out the parts where I look too dazed and plain weird. Oh, and please, if you do watch this episode, be nice and don't judge me. It's really different when there's a camera in front of you. I wasn't able to think straight at some points. I'm just hoping that I didn't do too poorly.

Despite my nervousness, I'm still very thankful to GMA News TV for this one-of-a-kind experience. Kuya Tonipet, Alyssa, Kuya Boni and everyone in the show were a pleasure to have worked with. Special thanks to Mama Isabel too for making my gorgeous television-ready make-up and extra poofy hair. I honestly felt like a celeb with the retouches and
punas-pawis moments. Haha! Again, thank you so much and
