Daily Quickie is a short tag on the title which I use for blog entries about food I'm snacking at home, work or anywhere.

Earlier this afternoon, we received a special delivery in the house. It's from Nestlé Drumstick! They gave my little sister a little gift -- a Nestlé Drumstick Duo bouquet, a Valentine's card and a pair of his and her Drumstick Duo t-shirt. While it's easy to assume that this gift came from her boyfriend, this surprise indirectly came from me.

I recently saw Nestlé Drumstick's twitter and they're picking random tweets with the #DUOvalentines hash tag. Winners get to surprise their loved ones or receive a surprise themselves! And since my little sis has been in a slump lately, I thought, why not surprise her with an ice cream bouquet? It was super nice too that they included a pair of shirts in the special delivery. Both of us now have a piece each of the couple shirt. Haha!

Anyway, I'm loving the campaign for Nestlé Drumstick Duo. While the ice cream is smaller than the original Nestlé Drumstick, I like that they have 2 pairs of cute mascots for their Chocolate & Vanilla and Strawberry & Cream variants. I know, I know, I'm so mababaw for easily falling for the mascots. But who could resist their cute charms? I think their small #DUOvalentines surprise giveaway is really sweet too. With Valentine's Day just a few days away, you too should join and surprise your special someone! *wink*

      Yup! The first time I saw a photo of the bouquet, I actually wanted it for myself! Haha :)) Yun lang my sis needs it more ^^

    Lucky you got a couple shirts! Some people wasn't able to received that! some received gcs/eplus card but so generous and sweet of Drumstick! Love 'em! :)

    I was luckily picked too. Got drumstick bouquet, 5 drumsticks, card, and GC's. I guess those who got picked in the earlier part of the promo got more. Like 2 t-shirts, pin, and 5 more drumsticks (for a total of 10). But still, I am thankful to Nestle for the treats. :)
