The Purple Doll's 2nd Blog Anniversary + Giveaway #1!

Exactly 2 years ago, at around 11:50PM, I've set up this blog and posted my first-ever blog entry. Fast forward to 48 months and 395 blog posts later, The Purple Doll's still alive and kicking. Maintaining a 2-year old blog might not be a biggie for others, but this is definitely a milestone for me. So for just this entry, let me be a little cheesier than usual.

Truth be told, I have never maintained a proper blog for more than a year. Ever. For some reason, I seem to easily lose interest or passion for most of my hobbies. If you've read my first post here on The Purple Doll, you'd know that I've had about 3 different blogs in the past. None of those 3 ever made it to the 1-year old mark. The longest among them just lasted for 4 months. Haha! I might've had (or still have) a short interest span. However, I'm really glad I was able to stick with The Purple Doll for this long (or short).

Thanks to all the wonderful people I've met over the past 2 years, I've enjoyed food blogging, and even blogging in general. I'm also blessed to have eaten mostly really good food. I can't deny though there are still days when I don't feel like writing anything, but I can tell I'll still keep The Purple Doll up and running for as long as I could. So, to all my friends, blog-mates, active commenters, silent readers, and even to those who just accidentally stumbled upon my blog, thank you. Thank you for keeping me motivated to go on with this journey as The Purple Doll. I'll definitely make this blog even better!
