OOTD: The Orange Girl
A few days ago, I mentioned that I'll be trying my hands on fashion blogging. And ta-da! Here's my first attempt at posting an OOTD. You be the judge if I win, or fail at it. Haha!
I have a fascination with the color orange. My boyfriend and little sister would usually make fun of me when I pick out bright orange clothing, bags or accessories when I shop with them. But hey, it's a happy color and I just want some more happiness in my life.
Actually, there was even a short while back in May of last year that I bleached and dyed my hair orange ala Hayley Williams of Paramore. I may or may not blog about it. Haha!
Anyway... Last month, I saw this long sleeve layered chiffon top from an online Instagram shop, Export Overruns, and I just had to buy it! It's orange, but quite muted. And I love its long and flowy white inner lining that can instantly give any outfit a layered look.
I styled this outfit with an equally soft and sheer beige pleated skirt for a girly, dainty feel, and a thin gold belt to give me a waist. LOL!
Told you! Without the belt, I wouldn't have any waist... But, the outfit definitely feels more laid-back. I wore this the last time I went to BGC, by the way. Have you been to the new Central Square in Bonifacio High Street? I can't wait when all the shops finally open!
I hope you enjoyed this first OOTD post. Would definitely love to share more OOTDs this month. I just hope I improve on posing in front of the camera 'cause I look awkward. Hopefully, the boyf will improve with his shots too. Haha! We're both a little too shy when shooting in public areas, so we'll really need all the practice we can get.
Anyway, I hope you're all enjoying the first work week of 2015! Toodles! d(❁^▽^❁)b

ReplyDeleteThanks, Earth! ^_^ Hat on is my fave for this look too. Btw, nope, my hair here is a result of 3x of bleaching sessions + regular toning. The one where I used Etude's was from 2013 pa and way, way darker. XD

ReplyDeleteLove the outfit - you certainly pull off being a fashion blogger! The colour is very pretty, more coral orange than 'in your face' bright orange, really suits you!
